Vishal Makol is an Immigration and Human Rights Lawyer and qualified as a Solicitor in 2010 and his understanding of immigration law is vast having undertaken various work in the field of immigration for nearly a decade.
Vishal stood as a committee member for the first time and was duly successful. Furthermore Vishal has been elected to the role of Treasurer within the current committee.
Vishal wanted to stand, as the profile of an ever increasing Asian presence within the legal sector, where many have come to prominence is something that is close to his heart. Vishal wants to use the position in order to raise immigration and human rights issues that are of interest to Asian lawyers and the wider Asian community.
Vishal has also been elected to the role of trustee for the Immigration Law Practitioner’s Association (ILPA). Vishal believes that everyone regardless of their background should have access to the law and legal representation.
Vishal enjoys watching sports in particular football, cricket and tennis. He is a passionate Liverpool Football Club supporter having grown up and hailing from Merseyside.
