Notice of postponed AGM & Elections
Due to the impact of industrial strike action on the London Underground from 7 September 2025, the original date of our AGM has been postponed.
NOTICE is hereby given to members pursuant to paragraph 4(f)(ii) of the Constitution of our postponed AGM date on:
Wednesday, 24 September 2025, 6pm (for 6.30pm) at:
3DJB Chambers, Dickens House, 15 Took’s Court, London EC4A 1LB
AGENDA
- Officers’ Reports:
- President – Muntech Kaur
- Secretary – Asia Razaq-Miah
- Treasurer – presented by Muntech Kaur
- Approval of Audited Accounts
- Election of the new Committee:
- Up to 12 persons to be elected by members present at the meeting (All candidates to be validly nominated)
- Hustings to be held if there are more than 12 nominations for the Committee.
- New Committee to choose and declare a President, Secretary and Treasurer.

and return them to: secretary@societyofasianlawyers.co.uk to be received by no later than 6pm on Monday, 22 September 2025.
For those candidates that have already submitted their nomination and declarations forms for the original AGM date of 10 September 2025, your forms remain valid (unless an update is required on your declaration form in which case please submit an updated/amended version) and there is no need to re-submit further form(s).
