LGBTI Debate

On 29th July 2014 SAL hosted a ground breaking debate on UK and Indian approaches to LGBTI discrimination and equality laws. As part of SAL’s commitment to diversify its programme of topics the debate tackled head on the sensitivity within the Asian community regarding LGBTI rights.

Summer Social 2014

SAL hosted it’s Summer Social Event on Friday 20th June 2014 at the popular Core Bar. It was resounding success with many new members attending for the first time. It was an excellent opportunity for new and existing members to meet and network before kicking off their shoes and dancing the night away.

Ball and Awards Dinner 2013

The 2013 ball was hailed an unprecedented success. The event was completely sold out (in excess 400 guests). The 2014 awards ceremony
enables us to build upon the success of last year and increase the capacity of this year’s venue to 750 people.
